TYLER LEWIS

Introducing Tyler Lewis, a 22-year-old rising star from London, who is set to make waves in the industry. With roots extending across Sri Lankan, Dutch, Portuguese, and South African heritage, Tyler effortlessly enchants audiences with her soulful voice and magnetic stage presence, and earning recognition from artists like Becky Hill, Tyla, Yebba, Jessie J, Flo, Mahalia and Kamille.

Tyler’s musical journey began at the tender age of 9 when she grabbed first place in a school talent contest with a spellbinding rendition of Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero.’ Raised on a diet of everything from Luther Vandross to Duran Duran, Brian McKnight to Nik Kershaw to Whitney Houston, Tyler sought out to capture the essence of soul and R&B titans through a uniquely contemporary lens, explaining, “I love how the music made me feel more than anything.” Fast forward to the age of 22, Tyler’s been able to experience the feeling of doing the same for others in a solo live setting, supporting Kiana Ledé on tour at KOKO last year, as well as performing as part of Mahalia Presents nights.

Over the past two years, Tyler Lewis has immersed herself in the world of writing and recording music. In a close collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist and producer MNEK, who plays a pivotal role in her journey, she has also worked alongside emerging writers, producers, and artists. Through enticing vocal snippets shared on social media, she has cultivated a dedicated following, all the while discovering and excavating her own unique voice and songwriting pen.

As Tyler Lewis continues to carve her musical path, this rising star’s story unfolds with authenticity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to her craft. “It very much does show exactly who I am as a person and what I love,” she says. “I just find it exciting knowing that there’s so much to come.”
